About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, Central Services & Facilities in our Institutional Operations team you will be responsible to manage core Central Services accounts tasks alongside Property and Premises activities within the New York Branch. This includes overseeing Payment System and Application Programming Interface (PSAP) management, which involves Accounts Management, Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and Expense Management for NOSTRO and SUSPENSE Accounts.
Additionally, you will ensure the smooth operation of the branch by overseeing health and safety measures and managing the mailroom. Your role also encompasses supervising Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting, building service quality standards, and establishing process and cost efficiencies. Furthermore, you will administer facilities functions such as property and premises management, building services, leasing, and insurance. Finally, you will manage supplier relationships with external contractors and handle procurement and outsourcing responsibilities.

What will your day look like?
As an Assistant Manager, Central Services & Facilities you will;
• Assist in managing an efficient Branch operating model for day-to-day Payment System and Application Programming Interface processes
• Monitor downstream Hub processing and resolve issues promptly to maintain Transaction Lifecycle Management account quality
• Resolve payment breaks with internal teams
• Administer Access to JP Morgan Accounts, Bank of Montreal, and Federal Reserve accounts
• Ensure compliance with Non-Financial Risk / Third-Party Risk Management frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to assess risk independently and escalate issues or concerns as necessary
• Assist with Branch Health & Safety requirements
• Organise building security risk assessment
• Manage an efficient operating model for day-to-day Front & Back Office processes across the Branch
• Third-Party Risk Management - Manage third parties in ARIBA Contract Workspace
• Manage all Landlord interactions and lease payments
• Contractor Management - General Property, Procurement & Outsourcing responsibilities
• Facilitate 277 Park Avenue lease renewal analysis and assist renegotiation What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Expertise in Payment System and Application Programming Interface (PSAP) management, including Accounts Management, Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and Expense Management (NOSTRO & SUSPENSE Accounts).
• Prior experience in office management function (including premises and facilities oversight) for large financial services organisations
• Competence in third-party management, including supplier management of external contractors and procurement & outsourcing responsibilities.
• Ability to assist with workplace strategy and property project initiatives.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to persuade, influence, and build rapport with key stakeholders.
• Highly motivated and flexible, with a proven ability to deliver in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000
This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
